Rising 3 star 6-8 shooting forward commits to Ed Cooley and friars Thursday night. Cooley and staff have been high on Kris for a while now.

Has a Trevon Bluiett type game, Xavier started tracking him as he has risen this summer. PC offered a year ago along with BC and URI, NCST, recently offered and Miami was getting ready to. It is so nice to get this verbal before the other offers started rolling. He was highly rated as a sophomore but kind of fell off the map last year even though his stats were fantastic. I think he may have been a bit out of shape, His body reminds me of Kris Jenkins as well as Bluiett. Really happy we scored this kid. The stretch 4 we needed for next year and beyond.

The friar staff has been great in evaluating and finding talent in their early development before they blow up. Getting involved early gives them a chance to be considered before the bigger schools jump in near the end. The future looks bright in friartown with the incoming talent and new practice facility being built.
