I wouldn't feel to bad I reviewed the stats a few months ago and 90 plus percent of all nationally televised non tournament basketball games are around a .5 give or take a few. Its only a few games that get over a 1.0 and most of those involve a number one seed or a Duke/Kentucky.

Now you see why they all worship the golden football. College basketball is about quantity of games on TV college football is the opposite. To look at the valley the problem isn't the fact that Creighton's highest rating was a .5 it was that they had so few games nationally televised. The media packages between football and basketball are so different its astounding.
