Big East gear / logo

I wanted to buy my dad a Big East shirt or hoodie for father's day. Does anyone know will the league keep the logo below or change it? Is there a place where someone could buy gear?

I got this sweet throw back big east shirt from homage. They also have some sweet Xavier throwback stuff.

I think we need to go back to that as our logo

I like the older logo, too, but switching the brand right after paying for it seems questionable to me. Keep the brand and seven schools don't have to switch anything, plus it emphasizes the image of this being the continuation of the Big East. Besides, there's enough to get done for them to be worrying about changing brands, why add unnecessary work to the plate?

I agree, I say keep the same logo. People are familiar with that logo and we paid alot of money to keep it.

I thought the conference bought the brand not just a logo
that would include the old logos too

They probably could, but it's still adding extra work.

No idea on commissioner news, but my guess is that the AAC (which includes current BE commissioner Mike Aresco) holds the Big East name, website, twitter, facebook, etc. until June 30, and then it will be turned over to the new Big East schools.

Uhhh looks like the AAC control both now Facebook and Twitter accounts now - so we'll have to start from scratch (will probably give us the @handle, but not the followers).
