BE7 fans - tell us who YOU want!

The message boards seem to be full of Butler, Xavier, Dayton, Creighton & St. Louis fans battling over who will get added to the BE7.

I'd like to hear from the BE7 fans. What pros/cons do you see for each of the 5 listed schools and maybe a few others? Who do you want to see come to your place?

I am a Nova fan and the 3 for me are Butler, X, and Creighton. Nobody else even comes close to those 3 in my opinion. I think if they expand to 12 it would be a drop off in quality except if somehow Gonzaga gets involved. I guess I would go with Dayton and St. Louis but neither one of those schools really gets me excited. I would shy away from VCU -- don't think they fit and same goes for Wichita State...not even sure how they keep coming up in the conversations...

I would love for them to hold at 10 and then keep their options open to see what the next couple of years brings...there may be better options available then settling for St. Louis and Dayton.

My dream list of schools to join the B7 would be the following:

B7 of course
Xavier
Butler
Crighton
UCONN
GONZAGA

This line up would easily make the Big East confsrence one of the best in the Country. I am being honest, not a fan of Dayton and St. Louis. If we can replace them with Gonzaga and Crighton, I would be have as a clam.

Not bad for a Tuesday eh? We've also already sold 5,000 all session tickets for the MVC tourney in Saint Louis (more than all the other MVC teams combined) and still have 2 more months to go...

As a Marquette fan, I think the Big East 2.0 should include Xavier, Butler, and Creighton if the league only expands to 10. If the league expands to 12 members, then Gonzaga and SLU should get invites. I am not excited at all by Dayton, Richmond, or St. Mary's. I think they don't have the brand recognition that the others do. Also if Dayton can't make the tournament on a consistent basis with their revenue streams and being in the A10 then who's to say they won't be just another Seton Hall or DePaul in the new reformatted Big East.
