LOL medical bills are crazy... i see them all the time. It costs about 4-8 grand just to go to the ER to tell them your back hurts and that doesn't count the costs of the MRI and for the doctors who are examining you. I review hundreds of medical bills a year and let me tell you and overnight stay in a hospital is about the same as buying a car.

That is just crazy. Honest to God, it hurts my brain. You look at every country around the world and their care, while maybe not equal to US in quality, is less than a 10th of the cost here. Sad.

That's just not true. I lived in Canada, you don't think they pay through the noses on taxes? Big stories were about how they were having to start sending rare or more advanced cases to the US to save money. Our system might be expensive, it certainly has problems, but 10 times more expensive everywhere else isn't even close to true.
