No offense meant, but this is a dangerous way to think about it. Team A leaves Conference whatever, the dominoes start falling, next thing you know programs are leaving the Big East for more money elsewhere. The Old Big East is a cautionary tale, and every conference out there needs to take heed. Change ALWAYS happens, there is nothing static.

And as for a buyout, the league should make it equivalent to the last 5 years of income of the program that wants to leave, including any tourney credits.

No offense taken.
The league is starting from scratch and needs to place itself where schools are like minded and won't defect.

It is the thought that the 10 teams in this league don't have or support major football programs and don't have plans to upgrade anytime soon. This conference is about basketball as main revenue producer. They need to build on that and not put in a if you leave me senario buyout or GOR to defer schools from looking for a new playground.

So no schools like UConn, Cinny, or even Norte Dame. Bad choices because they will always looking around.
Need to make smart addtions and work to make the league better as a whole.
