One of the most common complaints about conference realignment is the loss of some of the classic rivalries. There is talk of scheduling games, but it is rather haphazard. Why not schedule a bunch together, and call it something like the big east invitational? Schedule four games, say Syracuse Georgetown, Nova Pitt, Marquette Louisville, St Johns UConn, and play them back to back in the Garden, on a Saturday in December after football season but before Bowl season. Rotate the matchups or teams a bit, but I would watch the shit out of that, if I didn't go up myself.
