I thought he only claimed his source said there were discussions at UConn about it, and the rest was speculation that it could happen. I completely believe him that someone in UConn, and Cincy, admin discussed the possibility. They would be irresponsible not to explore their options, doesn't mean it was ever a serious discussion. I'm not sure how much I want to criticize him on that, since he much of what he writes is his own opinion, was he citing a source that said they were joining? If not, I don't have a big deal with it.

well I'll admit my oatmeal is not an excellent source for NCAA rumors. It is on the other hand an excellent source of fiber. And as it is just about as likely to be right on the whole realignment thing, I'll take the fiber over Jersey guys copy and paste.
