ESPN: C7 to have 12-14 teams

The new league, yet to be formed, is expected to have 12-to-14 members. The most likely candidates to join the Catholic schools, sources have told ESPN, are Butler, Xavier, Creighton, Dayton, Saint Louis, Richmond and VCU.

I can't see them adding both Richmond and VCU. If you are going to double up in a media market, Richmond is not the market to pick. Personally I pick VCU over U of Richmond for that market. If you are going to double up in a media Market it should be a large one (Chicago, NYC, Philly). If they decide to double up St. Joseph's is probably the best pick.

VCU scares me. They would would be a great addition to the C7 and they are underrated in my mind. They are physical, quick, and just overall ballers. VCU will be around for a long time, and even though they are a public school they should be added.
