PG recruiting battle going on between current & former BE schools for 2015 PG Justin Jenifer (Rivals #98). Dude is a B-more prodigy who's been on the scene since grammar school (poor man's Crimestopper). Here's a report after they beat Jersey's St. Benedict's the other day:

Behind 29 points from Towson commitment Allen Costley, Milford Mill (Md.) held off a late St. Benedict’s (N.J.) comeback to secure their first win of the season at the FamJuice Tipoff Classic...sensational point guard Justin Jenifer and Costley led Milford Mill down the stretch and put a stop to the valiant comeback effort made by St. Benedict’s in the second half. Jenifer scored 8 of his 13 points in the final quarter and took command of the game. His corner three to put his team up four was a pivotal moment in the fourth quarter. “Justin is just a floor general and a leader on all phases,” coach Silverman said. “He and I are so close we think hand in hand together…I entrust in him to run the show and he does a great job of that.

Jenifer, who is a hot commodity on the recruiting trail, was excited to get back on the court with Milford Mill for the first time this season. “I’ve been missing it all summer and I kept telling myself that I can’t wait until the high school season,” Jenifer said. “Now it’s here and we came out focused and got it done.” He listed Xavier, Cincinnati, Villanova, Georgetown, Miami, Penn State, and Louisville as schools that have shown interest in him thus far.

My Italian-American pride is showing here, but I'd love to see a Villanova backcourt of Arcidiacono and DiVicenzo... that would be really awesome.

So does that mean you aren't interested in this news :D :

Malachi Richardson ‏@TheLifeOfMali23:

Future150's Take on Malachi Richardson:

Last week 2015 Trenton Catholic (NJ) wing Malachi Richardson cut his list down to six schools: Indiana, Villanova, Connecticut, Arizona, Rutgers, and Syracuse. A little over a week later and it appears that Richardson is set to make his decision public, announcing at 2:30 tomorrow afternoon.

Villanova: The local team has been recruiting him hard since his freshman year and will surely trying to convince him to stay in the area and become the next star guard in a long line of talented group under Jay Wright. They have put so much time into landing him they must be considered as one of the favorites.

Syracuse: The presumed favorites after Richardson announced he would decide just a week after visiting their campus. They already have landed 2015 F Tyler Lydon and Richardson could play alongside him, forming a great shooting duo and a monster start to the 2015 class for the Orange.

MU could really, really use Diamond Stone, he's from Milwaukee too. Key.

2013 NY2LA Sports Classic Top Performers:

DIAMOND STONE - 2015 - C - DOMINICAN H.S.: Germantown was a tough test but Diamond still did his best to make an impact. He managed to get to the line okay and get some points there, but also scored inside when he could with some nice moves in the post and a couple power plays catching it in the middle. He finished with 11 points, 16 reb, and 5 blocks in the loss on Saturday.

According to Alex Kline it's an all-Ohio recruiting battle...Go get him X.

"Xavier & Cincinnati are the current leaders in the recruitment of 2015 Milford Mill (MD) PG Justin Jenifer, his father says."

Consensus Top 100 PF Alex Illikainen was at the Chicago State game yesterday and will also attend the Marquette Game on Tuesday. Probably one of Creighton's biggest targets for 2015.

Chris Monter ‏@collegebbnews 17h Grand Rapids junior Alex Illikainen is at the Creighton game versus Chicago State and will attend their game against Marquette Tuesday. .
