Marquette gets a #2 seed, while Georgetown, DePaul, and St. John's all made the 64 team field. Georgetown got rocked for placement. High rank, rpi, and stellar record, only to be given a second round match against the top overall seed. I believe placement is regional after the top few seeds, but that's a rough slot for a team that could have easily been given a seed.
