Trevon Bluiett - Xavier commit

Trevon's recruitment has been so unpredictable, this bold statement was pretty much a joke. Butler and Memphis are at Trevon's open gym today. It is very possible that Trevon will be going to Butler's scrimmage tomorrow since he lives only minutes away. Will be interesting to see where he ends up, pretty sure he's a Xavier lock.

So, I understand that the rumors being tossed out now, that are based on what certain people have heard from certain other people who themselves have "inside sources" from certain people who are close to a high school teammate of Trevon's, are centered on the idea that an announcement MAY be forthcoming tomorrow - that's Friday, November 1, in the year of our Lord 2013.

Every objective fan who is pursuing this drama knows the following at this point:

1. This has become one of the most unpredictable, fluid recruitments, or re-recruitments in recent times;

2. Social media - too much information in the form of fact and speculation - has created sidebar sports theatre; visit the Xavier, MSU, Memphis and Butler message boards if you disagree;

3. Which ever school lands him should not feel totally warm and comfortable until he signs the official paperwork;

4. Memphis made a run, but appears to be out of it, judging from the most current "information" available;

5. Butler is not in the picture either; it isn't clear that it ever was in the picture, except to think that they had some reasonable shot while Stevens was still the coach there;

6. Izzo's huge last minute push (i.e. in the last month or so, as compared to Xavier and Butler's recruitments) caused the Bluietts to stop and ponder things, but even the 247 people are losing hope; and

7. Xavier appears to have been the front runner since Trevon de-committed from UCLA and Xavier seems to have maintained a fluctuating lead since.

With all that noted, I'm expecting Trevon to commit to Penn State before noon tomorrow.

According to his twitter account he is a father and a husband! How can you not trust someone to be a basketball recruiting expert with those credentials!?

As i said in my first post, this was done a week ago. Dont want to break any trusts but this last week has been crazy. Great get best class ever for X
