I wonder if Billy Donovan could be lured to Depaul? Would be a paycut but might be a great ego booster if he could turn them around

I don't think we will see BillyD back in college again. If I'm wrong, it will be a P5 football school, not a 30-year reclamation project. Also, he coaches the Bull but has no ties to Chicago.

You got me there, gtmo. Nobody bats a 1,000. If reducing AD budget deficits equates to dodging a bullet, along with not having to worry about being tens of millions behind in revenue each year to the B1G and SEC, then they're in like Flynn. Seriously, to your point, they can cruise like this for a while, and they'll have access to the football playoffs.

A10 hurt itself by getting so big. 15 teams? Why? There’s a much better league in there if they could get back to 10-12.

The problem there is the new teams aren't the issue. It's some of the existing teams that are the issue. 4 of the top 8 teams are newer ones (Loyola, Davidson, George Mason, and VCU).
