I was at the game. Jays went up 12 in the first half and Mac took Kalk out, which totally stifled us and changed the momentum. Felt like we could have gone for the jugular right there.

As far as fans throwing stuff, that was nothing. They handed out blue towels for a charity program the school supports. I get that Mac needed to address it, but it wasn’t really anything.

Still not exactly the epitome of classy. If you look around and you're the only person saying "what we threw at you wasn't even a big deal" then you're still the problem. Not one other instance of another fan base throwing things at opposing benches this year.

Apparently a trend in Omaha--win or lose. What happened to all those nice people we heard about in "fly over" country? Mid-westerner politeness dead?

Props to Shaka and MU. They have proven they are the class of this league. I don't like Kolek personally--has a bit too much of a punk/chip on his shoulder kinda vibe--but he can play the game. Guessing he's the MU version of Ryan Arch from VU. Love him when he's yours and hate him when on the other team. MU is also very young. Aside from their legit shot at a FF this year, they could easily be a preseason Top 5 if Shaka can keep that team together. So much for the mighty Jays, Wildcats and Huskies. Cap tip to the GW's. TREMENDOUS job by Shaka.

Anyone else notice the old congeniality among coaches has left with this next generation of BE coaches. It prob started with Hurley--who is insufferable. But Miller was F' bombing Neptune, saw Cooley calling Hurley a MFer last night at a timeout. Classy guys like Jay and Lavall leave and the BE coaching fraternity turns to a lot of p!ss and vinegar.

Well if it happened in Philly you'd see it as the lead story on ESPN and Fox. Omaha? Nothing to see here. And trust me when I say the norm is that Eagles and Sixer fans and Nova fans are usually from two distinct circles. There are some (like me), but there are a ton of Nova fans from MD/DC, NJ/NY, up into CT and other parts of New England. If anything I think our fan base could use a little bit more juice but after 4 FF's and 2 NC's over the past dozen years or so, we've become a bit fat and content. Maybe we need to start chucking beers more.
