OMAHA, Neb. – The Creighton men's soccer team earned a 3-0 shutout of No. 1 Indiana during the adidas/IU Credit Union Classic on Friday night in Bloomington, Indiana.
The Bluejays earned their first win of the 2021 campaign, improved to 1-2 this season and recorded their first win in program history against a team ranked No. 1.
The victory also marked the first win for any Creighton athletics program against a team ranked No. 1 since the Creighton baseball team recorded an 11-8 victory in 10 innings against Nebraska in Lincoln on April 24, 2001.
Additionally, Friday's Bluejay win marked the first time Indiana lost during a regular-season match at home since Oct. 10, 2015 (1-0 [OT] vs. Ohio State).

I was surprised that neither Xavier or Butler got at large bids.
SEATTLE - Add another unforgettable moment in Duncan McGuire's memorable season.
McGuire scored twice in the final 6:18 to give Creighton the 3-1 upset over No. 1 Washington on its home field Sunday night in the second round of the NCAA men's soccer tournament.
McGuire entered the night leading the NCAA in goals with 19, which included six when the Bluejays won the Big East tournament earlier this month.
