The senior is the top uncommitted wing in the state. We caught up with him to discuss his recruitment beginning with his official visit to Creighton over the weekend. “It was pretty good. I liked the team and the campus. I really like the team. They are together like we are at Morgan Park. I really like them.”

He likes their style of play. “They run. They shoot. They are real long. They play defense like my style of play.”

The coaches said they see similarities in Cunningham’s game to their current star. “They said I play like Doug (McDermott) the coaches son. He is versatile and can go down to the post and shoot. He can play defense and pretty much do everything.”

Indication is that @JoshMCunningham is down to Creighton, Minnesota, Oklahoma, Iowa St and Bradley.

I'm guessing that even though Cunningham & LG3 are listed as SFs that Creighton wants both 6-7 swingmen.

Yeah, Coach Mac sees Gilmore as a 3 and Cunningham as a stretch 4 so we are still after him.

List Updated....It appears Depaul is still in the mix for Cunningham per ESPN's Scott Powers:

"Morgan Park coach Nick Irvin says Northwestern is out of the mix for Josh Cunningham. DePaul is still involved."

Top 100 PF Ben Bentil to announce Monday, Georgetown, Miami, Temple, PC. Everybody now believes it's PC. Having him on campus the day that Abu announced to NC State was a big help, plus Paul White to Georgetown helped. Belief is he wants to commit before Jaquil Taylor visits.

Mizzou, who is thought to be Marquette's biggest competition of one of my favorite BE recruits Ahmed Hill, just signed another 4* SG. Mizzou now has 2 Top 100 SG's which I think knocks them out of the mix leaving quette as the likely lone leader for Hill (If they weren't already the favorites). The crystal ball at 247Sports.com for Hill immediately switched from the tigers to quette.

That would be great news if Providence can pick up Bentil tomorrow when he announces. Meanwhile UConn received a commitment from an unranked kid out of Alabama- Rakim Lubin. Uconn's message board is still trying to figure out who he is.

Love it, there is nothing on this Lubin kid, sucks to be in the AAC I guess. Hopefully Providence can get Bentil and Marquette can get Hill.

Henriquez just commited to Central Florida, means he's off Butler and Creighton's wishlists.

List Updated...He went from Miami to Orlando; probably didn't really want to leave Florida.
