I wouldn't think the Pac-12. Have to think in year two the MWC did. Some solid Friday night numbers.

Some notes from SBJ:

"Take FS1 and Big Ten Network, for example. Both networks posted noticeable increases early last week for conference tourney play, reports SBJ’s Austin Karp."

"FS1 set a record high during the Big East tournament when it averaged 246,000 viewers for men’s Big East quarters on Thursday. Its Wednesday coverage of 300,000 viewers was the highest opening day yet for the conference tourney on the network."

"For women’s hoops, FS1’s coverage of UConn’s 30-point win over Villanova in the Big East Championship Monday was down 7% (277,000 viewers) but still is the third-best women’s college hoops game in FS1 history."

ESPN relying on FOX properties for their best ratings. LOL. (And well done BJ/BE fans.)

Steve Lavin hired as head coach at San Diego. IMO will be a big loss for Fox studio programming. I thought he was excellent during the pre and postgame shows; knowledgeable, humorous, easy to listen to. His antics at dollar beer night out in Omaha was a something to look forward to each year. FS1 needs to hire a replacement coach analyst that knows the league well, maybe Chris Mack?

Yeah I posted that on the coaches thread. Totally agree with you on Lavin with studio programming.

Mack is an interesting one. It'll be interesting to see if they go someone Big East ties or someone with more Big Ten ties.

Interesting name GW11 mentioned on the CSN board- Tom Crean. Has Marquette experience obviously. But also of course has Big Ten experience with Indiana. Would fit you'd think with those 2 conferences....
