NC 2 guard James Demery tweeted a final 5 or 6 quite some time ago including Creighton He is Top 100 at ESPN and Future150 and highly rated on other sites (although he dropped out of the Rivals 150 in the last revision).

After that tweet he went silent and we don't know where he stands. There was a blurb somewhere saying he was a St Joes lean and I believe he visited there but again, strangely silent and hard to locate info.

List updated for Creighton with SF James Demery. Agreed his recruitment is all quiet outside of St. Joe's being very high on his list...He is did visit them this weekend, no commit though so far. This was last week from Scout.com's HawkHillHardwood.com:

"2014 Northside Christian (NC) guard James Demery begins his official visit to Saint Joseph's today."

List Updated....It appears C Chinanu Onuaku is back in play for the hoyas because JT3 is a boss on the trial. Per Evan Daniels:

"Interesting development in the Chinanu Onuaku recruitment. Thought to be down to Louisville & Miami ... he'll visit Georgetown this weekend"

https://twitter.com/EvanDanielsFOX/status/383280198356987905

and Jeff Goodman:

"Few are better at going underground in recruiting than the Hoyas"

Not sure we have any scholarships left for 2014. But I'll let JT3 figure that one out.

Riley LaChance has apparently dropped Butler from consideration.

"My finalists are Minnesota, Creighton, Iowa and Vanderbilt. I will be visiting Iowa this weekend. We will see how things play out.”

List updated...Interesting, sounds like the Stevens effect is in full effect this recruiting season for the Bulldogs.

From what I read, I'd be surprised if he chose Creighton but you never know.

Gtown Top 75 recruit deciding soon per InsideMDSports.com:

"Chinanu Onuaku will announce next Friday afternoon on Comcast Sports Net. Down to three: #UofL, #Canes and #Hoyas."

ON a side note, Ben Bentil, a top 100 PF in most ratings, is supposedly down to Providence, Temple and Miami. Miami just received a commitment from PF Omar Sherman, a player very similar to Bentil. Paul White's commitment to Georgetown resulted in Bentil cancelling his visit there. Hoping Bentil does the same with Miami, If it comes down to Temple and Providence, I like the Friars' cahances.

Per my favorite Prov blogger, The Undercover Friar:

"2014 PC recruit Ben Bentil tweets he will be choosing his college of choice on Monday."

https://twitter.com/UndercoverFriar/status/383953547349721088

Is this viewed as good or bad for Friar fans? I think it's a good sign, especially given that Miami just signed a pretty good 6-10 JC player (Ivan Uceda).
