I think we get at least 4 and maybe 5.

Butler - lock
Creighton - lock
Georgetown - 90% certainty
Marquette - 90% certainty

St. Johns - 50% chance
Villanova - 33% chance
Xavier - 33% chance
SLU - 25% chance

No way is GTown 90% certain as getting a bid. They just lost to USF, that was the Bulls first Big East win.

As mentioned in another thread, the initial strength of the new conference will be with the new teams and not the old Big East.

12 team league w/Creighton, X, Butler, SLU and Dayton would be a 4-5 bid league per year. This year, probably 4 (Creighton, Butler, Marquette, Georgetown), maybe 5.

You may be right. At the end of the day I still think they get in.

The Georgetown name still carries a lot of cache. When they apply the "eye test" on Selection Sunday, the 1st thing they see is the jersey.
While a confounding team this year, Georgetown is the exactly what no one wants to run into in the NCAA's & that makes the network salivate.
I think most agree on 4, maybe 5, bids barring some hot runs in the conference tournaments.
Creighton, Butler, Marquette, Georgetown, maybe Xavier. Starting out as a 4-5 bid conference w/ lots of name brands is a nice product to sell to TV.

Hoyas will be dancing for sure. And DePaul, Seton Hall, and Providence will definitely not be.

I'm not so sure about the Hoyas making the tournament this year. With Hollis Thompson opting out of his senior year and now Whittington declared academically ineligible, the remaining roster is not very impressive (outside of Otto Porter). They are 2-3 in conference right now and could easily be 2-5 after the Notre Dame/ Louisville games coming up. Winning at Notre Dame is extremely difficult and Louisville is ranked (currently) #1 in the nation. Losing at South Florida on Saturday was just bad.

I'd day our chance is more 20% - we're just too inconsistent. Wouldn't surprise me if we knocked off another ranked team like Cuse but could equally see us losing to DePaul at home. Next year is our year for a big push!
