Jon Rothstein @JonRothstein 18m18 minutes ago Kansas State transfer Marcus Foster will visit Creighton this weekend (4/17-19), source told @CBSSports. LSU also in the mix.
Was Big-12 Freshman of the year, couldn't get along with Webber as a sophomore and was dismissed. High risk high reward IMO. We were in his final two last time around....

Definitely worth the risk in my opinion since he may be the best transfer on the market besides the pg from Washington. Good luck Creighton

All he needs is a 2nd chance. After being run off by Weber, he'll be welcomed with open arms at Creighton. Strongly considered Creighton in high school before choosing K-State. Could he be immediately eligible because he got dismissed? If that's the case then the Jays could have a lineup of Watson, Milliken, Foster, Huff, and Hegner. That lineup is FIRE.

Go get him Jays! Former 3-star from 2013. Had offers from K-State, Creighton, Oklahoma and Cal, among others. SG, 6'-2", 180 lbs. Wichita Falls, TX.2
In 2 years at K-State: avg was 15.5 and 12.5 ppg, shooting 39.5% and 34.7% from 3. avg 29 and 28 minutes per game.

I'm guessing he won't be eligible immediately. If the NCAA granted that the risk is that a lot of guys might try getting kicked off their team so they wouldn't have to sit a year when they transfer.

this is correct. He'd sit out a year with the transfer and then end up taking Milliken's place in the lineup.
Foster was down to us and KState when he decided on KState. He had a bad senior year (played center for his HS team, gained weight and played PG for his AAU team) and a lot of the other teams dropped out. Only CU and KState were left when he decided. I think we lost out mostly because we were in the MVC at the time.

Nice. Thank you Big East - we don't get guys like this without you all.
