Arizona freshman Craig Victor (#34 2014 incoming class) is transferring from Arizona in search of more playing time. He is considering Seton Hall, as well as Tulane, Oklahoma State, San Diego State, LSU, Oklahoma, and Tennessee. Hopefully the Pirates can get him! They can definitely use some help in the front court next year with Mobley graduating.

Reports are that he will definitely decide this weekend so that he can enroll in school for the upcoming semester and be eligible next December. The bad news for Seton Hall is that hey have no available scholarships for this season, so to come here he would have to pay his own way for a semester before receiving his scholarship starting next year. It also seems SHU is the only (or one of very few) team he's considering now that did not heavily recruit him as a freshman.

On the positive side, he's good friends with Isaiah Whitehead, who's been recruiting him hard to transfer to SHU. The Pirates will also have plenty of immediate playing time to offer him. It's also a good selling point that coach Willard is giving his current crop of freshmen a ton of playing time and they are having success.

He decided to go home to LSU. Not particularly surprising.

A former Top-50 recruit out of high school, Victor averaged 3.1 points and 1.1 rebounds in eight games this season for the Wildcats. Math doesn't add up for a top level recruit.

In very limited playing time. I believe he was 3rd in his position on their depth chart. Would've been nice for the Hall to add a talented front court player, but the Louisiana kid barely left his 2nd recruitment open a week before committing to LSU (and took no visits)...looks like he mostly had his mind made up from the start.
