2014 C Paschal Chukwu (PC)

Watching Paschal play he reminds me of Mutumbo with less defensive intimidation but more refined bball skills at this point, specifically passing & court leadership. In Fairfield Prep's (CT) last game he went for 15 points & 12 rebounds. FP is 5-0 and ranked as the #1 school in CT. In that game I saw him make one play where he challenged a guard driving to the hole, got the contested rebound after the miss, and from underneath the basket while falling backwards out bounds with the rebound threw a 3/4 court over-the -head pass to a streaking teammate for a one bonce and1 lay-up! He seems like a very unselfish player & a vocal leader. He's does the Mutumbo finger wag after blocking shots. He's very athletic, plays above the rim consistently and on both ends. Much more athletic than Roy Hibbert for example. His offense seems to be get position within 5 ft and make something happen, but he seems capable of being an andre drummond type opportunist for scoring down the road. He's a consensus Top 60 player now and IMO may rise some based on his skillset & size.
Here's a link to that game. It was a packed house for a huge game against rival Hillhouse (CT).
