Extremely disappointing loss. PC has been recruiting him since his freshman year. First major scholarship offer. Followed him nonstop during the winter and summer. L'ville shows up during the July period, and gets the player. He is not currently ranked on major sites, but after his summer most are saying he will be in the top 30 range, Mcd's all american type. Had been the #1 priority for Cooley for 2015, and even affected how they recruited gaurds for 2014 because they were confident Mitchell would be coming. Sounds like it came down to PC or L'ville..and the glamour won out.

Win some loose some...its the nature of recruiting. Anyway your program is strong enough that 1 top recruit can't make or break it. Remember last year Friar nation was down when Abu went elsewhere but then Cooley came back with Bentil who I still say is going to be better than Abu.

Don't count Cooley out he had to know this was a possibility & is ready to reload!
