I like the diversity of Elliott's game. Good size, great length which should allow for solid perimeter defense. The real question is if he can develop as a decent backup point guard for Howard. When Rowsey leaves, there's really no one else to play the point after Markus in 2018, and barring transfers out, not a lot of scholarship flexibility to find a replacement (and I really don't want to see Cheatham have to go back there again).
