Ryan Kalkbrenner - 7 foot Creighton commit

Postby Omaha1 » Mon Sep 23, 2019 10:19 am

This was a very important get for Mac. Jays have had issues recruiting size that fits the offense in a pick and roll to the hoop to catch passes at the rim. Kansas offered late and lots of us worried based on other guys we were in on early who switched late to bigger names (Wur to Oregon, Enaruna to Kansas).

Top 75 national recruit and the best shot blocked in this class according to some.
Nebraska by birth, Creighton by choice.

Pretty excited about Kalkbrenner. Will need to add weight like most seven foot tall teenagers but he could be a difference maker for our defense around the rim.
