A couple of nice mentions for Butler today on ABC sports, plus Ed's Alma Mater was announced to the 200,000+ at the track. Too bad Carpenter was taken out in a crash with 24 laps to go. He had a car that was in the top five all day and had a real shot at winning.

Carpenter pulled down $463,694 for his 27th place effort. Not too bad a day for a Butler Grad!
