These rankings will obviously a change a lot, but regardless I'm glad the Big East is likely signing their next TV deal this off-season. :)

Jon Rothstein's 45

https://collegehoopstoday.com/index.php/rothstein-files/rothstein-45-2023-24-preseason-edition/

1 UConn
4 Marquette
5 Creighton
25 X
37 Providence
42 Nova

I am sure many will disagree, but it'd be optimal to have Nova, Georgetown, and SJU do better than they're being projected to while Val's trying to negotinate with Fox. I guess Rothstein wants to see names on the roster before committing to Pitino or Cooley. Nova is on the same boat, imo. Neptune needs a right set of transfers around Moore and Dixon.

As much as I am excited for next season, I would be shocked if our starters all returned. I think Kaluma is gone, Baylor is leaning toward leaving, and I wouldn’t be shocked if Trey did too.

Way too early for this as far as CU goes is an understatement.

I’d like to know where your information comes from.

Why do you think Kaluma is gone and where is he going? Transfer? Europe?

I’ve heard the exact opposite about Baylor.

Where is Trey going to go? Transfer? G League and less money than NiL.

I’ve been reading your posts all season and shake my head at your takes.

Time will tell what is going to happen, but conjecture about who and where is pointless until it happens.

“I think” = my opinion or my expectation. Didn’t say I have insider info. I’d love for everyone to play at CU but I THINK that is unlikely.

Even Andy Katz is being somewhat cautious with propping up the B10 in his power 36.

Addition of Hakim Hart moves Nova up to 15 in Bart Torvik pre-season projection:

2 Creighton
4 Marquette
6 UConn
15 Nova
