Surprised CU is favored. Jays probably need to win at Nova to have a chance at the 3 seed. Lose and it’s likely 4 vs UConn.

Yeah a Creighton loss and the BET seedings are actually fairly simple:
1 Maruqette
2 Xavier/Providence winner
3 Xavier/Providence loser
4 Creighton
5 UConn
6 Nova/Seton Hall winner
7 Nova/Seton Hall loser
8/9 St John's/Butler
10 DePaul
11 Georgetown
Creighton win and they'd move to 3 and the Xavier/Providence loser would drop to 4.

If Dixon is going to hit 3s all game and Kalk doesn’t finish at the rim, it’s going to be a long day.

Nova looks solid and with good depth today. Could be a big factor in the BET.

Tip of the cap to Villanova. Felt a lot worse than 79-67.

So at this point after the Villanova win, it would take one of the bad teams in the conference playing spoiler to possibly change this setup.
Edit: To clarify, I don't classify St. John's as a bad team (neither do metrics), but their remaining opponents have two-loss gaps between them and other teams.

That might have been the best Nova has played all year. Really controlled tempo from the tip and Dixon hitting six 3-pointers was a huge boost.
I think a lot of people are watching Nova as the season comes to a close to see if they can mount an epic late season party crashing.

If they can win on the road at Seton Hall, they really start to get interesting. Would need a win next weekend against UConn to get to 17-14. Win against Georgtown in the BET rd 1 to get to 18-14. Would feel like game against Xavier/Providence loser would be for a tourney spot.

2 reg season wins + 2 BET wins vs. 1 reg season win + BET finals? Both would get Nova to 19 wins, but I can see pros and cons of each scenario.
