... watching college basketball games this Winter, i've noticed that around half the teams have their courts named after someone-- former players, coaches, boosters, others that may have donated money, etc...

This started as a quiz but now will be a long list.

Two I know for sure are La salle- Tom Gola, and St. John's- Lou Carnesecca. I'm guessing Al McGuire for Marquette?

to complete the Big East loop, John Thompson is Georgetown.

If not Dean Smith would have to be Roy Williams. Maryland couldn't possibly be Lefty Dresiell considering what a crook he was?
