It's coming at 3 CT, except that he followed it up by saying the announcement might get bumped due to ongoing negotiations.

More Fox News... I think that the C7 overpaid but my guess is that FOX wants 2013 and FOX will get 2013.

If we get the MSG contract, is it binding through the years it was previously signed for? If it does, I can see that being worth more, but it sounded like that was not the case, previously.

On Tuesday, Fox announceS its intention to start Fox Sports 1, an all-sports network, in August.

The channel will carry Nascar races, Major League Baseball games, college basketball and football, soccer and U.F.C. fights. It will also broadcast studio shows, including one that is to be hosted by Regis Philbin, a celebrated Notre Dame fan.

Murdoch’s effort is a long shot to topple ESPN, or at least take a huge bite out of it.

One way to measure Fox Sports 1’s future success will be how many subscribers it gets and the subscriber fees it can accumulate. Fox has spent months working to convert Speed, a motorsports-centric network with 81 million subscribers, to Fox Sports 1. A companion service, Fox Sports 2, will replace another niche channel, Fuel.

Ugh, for the Big East they should be using EST! I got all excited for an announcement in an hour. Now I have to wait three.

However, should serve well for SLU and Creighton fans that a Fox guy is emphasizing CST.

Well i did say it was a Fox MIdwest reporter. It would be odd in St. Louis to use ET, just as it would be odd in Boston to use CT. That said the CST is a big thing really Fox doesn't want all ET teams it allows a more continuous line of games to show over the course of a day. wrapping up with the 10 pm et PAC game.
