Why I am Campaigning Against dayton

Yes, welcome to me, Xavier fan, and unabashed dayton hater.
But there is logic why dayton should not be included in the new league, they are cogent and honest reasons.
First, the Big East should not expand beyond 12 teams, to do so waters down the league as a whole, and with the markets that will be included, this is not necessary.
Second, everyone accepts that the first 2 in are Xavier (Cincinnati market) and Butler (Indianapolis market)
So if the league goes to 10, then it's "probably" between Richmond (favored by Georgetown), Creighton, or St. Louis (favored by Marquette). One of these three will be the third of the first 3....yeah I just wrote that.
So if (or when) the Big East expands to 12, wouldn't it be logical to favor the two that were left out of the first wave of members?
Also, look at market footprint. dayton offers NO new market. Xavier basically overlaps daytons footprint, so this is not a factor worth mentioning in the Big East. Why would Xavier want another program in its backyard, which basically would undercut its recruiting locally? Whereas the other teams mentioned pretty much all stand on their own, with very little overlap, dayton offers nothing new to the league that isn't already covered by the new leagues first choice.
And so, I ask you, other Big East members, would YOU accept a team into the league that was virtually in your backyard willingly? Wouldn't YOU find another better option? Another team that has its own market, a better NCAA resume', comparable fanbase, newer facilities?
I HATE dayton.
