On a side note, not many states can claim to be home to 3 major conferences: Indiana & Purdue (Big Ten), Butler (Big East), Notre Dame (ACC)

Realistically, would anyone ever have considered this to be The Big East?

I can see why Notre Dame would be looking for a stop over home for a year.
