Just keeping an eye on where everyone stands. Without paying much attention to the A-10, I thought Dayton was a better team than they are. Otherwise, it would appear on paper that all the teams we covet are the best in their respective leagues.

I hope we grab Butler, Xavier, VCU, Creighton and Saint Louis. We already have Ohio covered with Xavier. Dayton is the weakest current performer of the teams frequently mentioned.
Also, adding Saint Louis makes Creighton look less like a geographic outlier.

I think for Creighton to be added, SLU needs to be added too.

As much as I enjoy the Dayton rivalry, if I had to choose, I would rather see Creighton and Slu.

If Dayton wasn't selected, I still see no reason why Xavier couldn't play them yearly.

I'm not trying to be that guy that is defending his teams loss, but it wasn't completely awful. Yes, Butler played like s*** and they deserved to lose, but even if BU had played a good game, they still may have lost. SLU is a hard-nosed, up in your face, very physical team. This is why I would love to have them join this conference.

This right here is the main reason I'm really excited for this new conference. It will have a ton of competition, but even more respect for one another. I can't wait to support the conference, not just my team, and I hope 7-8 schools make the dance every year. Go conference that has no name yet!

I watched Creighton play last night for the first time and saw them lose at home to a sub .500 team. Decent team and still probably a good long term addition to the C7 based on the support. They said on TV they had over 18k for the game which is pretty ridiculous. It's more than the Bucks average and would be in the upper half of the NBA from what I can tell. Although the game wasn't impressive the support in sort in Omaha is nothing short of amazing.

Creighton sure fell off the map quickly didn't they? Went from a dark horse final 4 team to the bubble in a matter of weeks.
