I take from the story from ESPN that we're likely to get the official announcement of the new conference (or continuation of the old conference by the C7, if you want to look at it that way) today, but we're not likely to know who the additions to the conference are today. Is that how others are reading this? If so, how long is it likely to take the conference to announce the new members? Thoughts?

Yes, new additions won't be announced today or tomorrow or this month. They are going to dangle us till June.

That's what corporate america does, that's what the FBS does. Apparently thats what Catholic presidents do as well.



In reality and fairness, the lawyers get paid more the less efficient they are. The commish won't be named for a while as well. For as hot sheet as this ny law firms supposed to be, I think they pretty much got raped with the $100 mil.

27 months for an equitable split into an immediate split with the name wasn't going to be for cheap. What did you expect them to get? We're leaving with asserts into a far better media deal, I'd hardly call it a terrible loss. What are the lawyers supposed to do if Fox is saying get it done, now? If Fox did really cover some of the losses to get it done early it wasn't so bad.
