One thing that stands out to me is that Seton Hall and Xavier each got a first place vote. So who besides Jay Wright didn't vote Nova #1?

Anybody following Butler for any length of time knows they always surprise. There's always a guy who comes out of the woodwork for them and kicks ass.
So many BE Stars this year. Gonna be fun.
Kinda glad Tre didn't get BE POY. Should be another motivating factor. I can see this guy going off for 35-40 if X needs him to.

Fair, and you never know until the season gets going, but the thing is pretty much no matter who's coaching them, they're going to play in a similar manner to the teams before them. I don't expect them to go crazy this year simply because they're much younger than they have been the last few years, but I do think they'll get better and more comfortable as the year goes on. If I had to choose an under the radar guy to watch out for, it would be Christian David. Plus getting left off any preseason honors should be a good motivator for Kamar Baldwin.

As for the rest of the league, it'll be interesting to see if anyone can make Villanova sweat a little bit this year. Lot of older guys will be the face of their teams and this league with the exception of Marquette and St. John's.

I think the Pirates can make Villanova sweat this year. They're the only team in the country returning three 1,000 point scorers and they appear to have a lot more depth than they did the past couple years.

Dawg, interestingly enough, no seniors on Nova this year-they are young. That said, Brunson and Bridges are probably gone end of the year.
