A quick search of the Kenton County Auditor shows the house is owned by Chris and Christi Mack

Well, with this recent tweet, I'd say Xavier is safe.

Kyle Young was allegedly an enormous priority for Ohio State, and we stole him out of the state. Don't think Xavier was nearly as involved as Ohio State.

It'll be interesting to see what their two 2017s decide to do. Beverley is a modest talent, but Kaleb Wesson is very highly rated. Unfortunately for him, he probably hasn't been thoroughly evaluated by coaches because he committed almost two years ago.

If he is constantly shopping for other jobs, OSU would be hard to turn down. They've got all the money in the world there. But geez, the timing sucks for Mack. He's got a really good team coming back next year....one year later and it may be a different story.

If Mack goes, does X try to rehire Matta? Small world.

Coach Mack would be in the Top 5 for any Coaching job in the Country. Any AD that didn't try to talk to him should be fired. I don't think he has ever "shopped" for a job since he's been @ X. He has had many, many calls for sure.

There was significant mutual interest with Cal a few years back. He and his family love the Bay Area and vacation there regularly, and there was also tension between the coaching staff and the administration at that time. That tension has generally eased, and the relationship is much healthier now. That's the only time he has ever seriously considered another job.

Interesting Ohio State struck out almost immediately on Sean Miller, Archie Miller (both longshots) and Chris Mack. Hoiberg then pulls himself out and it seems OSU may have struck out on Holtmann too.

Some of these names that are left (and no disrespect to any because all great coaches) - Bob Huggins, Ed Cooley, Greg McDermott.... how does that get the Ohio State fanbase excited trading in a 2-time Final Four coach in Thad Matta for any of them?

Will be interesting to see what Gene Smith can pull out of his hat because it sounds like the Top 5-6 choices would never have gone or have pulled themselves out of consideration.

Something that is odd to me is Ohio State is interview McDermott and Cooley - but won't touch Mick Cronin from UC. Article in the Enquirer today that there's been no communication from OSU to Cronin and really not a ton of talk about him as a potential candidate outside of a few initial articles. I don't know if UC's continued lack of success in March is hurting him but odd it sounds like he's not even being considered.
