Agreed. Reeves, Duke, Ntambwe, and a puncher's chance at Swider.

Nova just landed Scout's #31 overall player in Brandon Slater.

2018 should be a big year for Villanova recruiting. Brunson, Bridges, Booth and possibly Spellman will all be gone, so real PT to offer top recruits. Look for a 3 or 4 man class, all of whom could be 4 stars or better.

I'd back off of that statement. Doubt Jay would exclusively load up like that again. I believe he's mentioned this about learning from that past mistake.

Really???? Jay has mentioned learning from past experience about taking a handful of the wrong type of top talent, not to never take a handful of top talent. Huge difference. If Nova loses 3 players this year(or thinks he might), you can count on Jay to sign 3 or 4 top 25/50/100 type players, all of whom fit the Nova style and system.

The quote was all would be 4-stars or better, Collin Gillespie does not fit that criteria. That's all I was saying and Jay has stated as much.

You're the only one who mentioned Gillespie. We're(LGN & myself) are talking 2018 recruiting class, not 2017. Either way, Jay isn't going to shy away from top end talent because one class didn't work out, he's just going to be much more selective, Jay has stated as much.

And Noah Locke. I think PC currently leads for Reeves, Locke and Ntambwe (who, I'm really excited about) I think we are top 3 for Duke although a Reeves commit could move us up. I think that right now Xavier leads for Swider with Creighton, Nova on their heels and PC a bit behind, unless of course he decides to stay home, then it's us. He has said as much.
