Guys this is not the MVC anymore. This is the BIg East emphasis on Big, meaning Bigtime. Think about what schoole truly deserves to play in a Conference tournament in MSG when thinking of a school. We have proved this is working great. The league should and will I believe be VERY selective when thinking of expanding if they do at all. This is now an exclusive club, enjoy it.

For perspective, Pac 12 had 20 games on FS1 last year that were P12 controlled. 2 on Fox that were Fox controlled. All 22 were conference games. I seriously doubt the Big Ten is going to have Fox getting all the conference games. So what we've seen from Fox and FS1 with the Pac 12- that's going to be pretty close to what we see with the Big Ten. Weeks with 1,2,2,1,4,2,4,4,1 games per week. I think you'd see the 4's become 3's and the 1's become 2's- so between 2-3 games each week.
Maybe this year a bit more only because they're playing the conference tourney earlier. But not normally.
1 thing just thinking about that. With Big Ten tourney going week earlier, Raft will be around for the BET. HOWEVER- he is not allowed to air on Fox due to CBS contract. Would that factor into Fox maybe having the BET final on FS1 so Raft could do that game? Would Fox try to buy the rights to Raft for network for that 1 game- then allowing Raft to be on CBS on Sunday for the selection show?

Helpful in the fact that FS1 becomes part of mid-western sports fans rotation of checking channels. If Tom the Wisconsin fan from Milwaukee is flipping through the sports channels a night the Badgers aren't playing and comes across a Marquette v. Georgetown game he'll stick around and watch because he'll now be more likely to check FS1 since his beloved Badgers have games there. Same with Bill in Cleveland, Ed in Flint, Rob in Indianapolis or Mike in Minneapolis.

Right- BUT if there's only 2-3 Big Ten games a week on FS1, and at the same time 2-3 Big Ten games a week on ESPN- they still would likely go ESPN 1st. Tom from Milwaukee if he had the choice between a Georgetown/Marquette game on FS1 or a Big Ten game on ESPN would likely choose the Big Ten game.

I don't see how it's going to be anything, but a very positive step in the right direction. And considering Marquette is in Milwaukee I think it's extremely likely Tom keeps it on FS1.
