That is a great point. I also think that might point towards the round-robin being a net negative. By the end of the season coach's have no more playstyles to confront.

I've been around since this board was formed.

I post here rather frequently, and have even been in "conversations" with you.

The conference isn't "too small". The conference is doing great. The Round Robin format continues to equate to a net positive, not a net negative.

And, most importantly: YOU NEVER SETTLE. Both those programs have their strengths and they are very comfortable within the confines of the A10. But that doesn't mean that they warrant consideration by the Big East, especially in 2017, and especially given a NC by Nova in 2016 and 7 teams to the NCAAT in 2017, with 2 of those 7 heading towards the S16.

I can virtually assure you there isn't one person in a decision-making capacity for the Big East that thinks the way you do about the conference's size or the need to expand now, based on what is available now.

Expansion I would think would work... The 13 team conference I've heard mentioned. 6 home and away, 6 once. 3 permanent rivals, other three rotate.

Add Dayton (because we all need that annoying little brother), St Louis (so DePaul isn't the bottom team anymore), and Davidson (because f--- the ACC). Keep it private.
