Their starting center is an undersized walk on. That should tell you all you need to know regarding the talent on that team.

Meanwhile, Providence gained 4 RPI points while sitting around idle since Saturday, putting us at 60. So, as of this minute, the Big East has 8 teams in the Top 60 in RPI.
Other bubble developments include Pitt dropping to 1-8 in the ACC... though their RPI is 56. Their non-conf has wins over Maryland and Marquette, plus W over Virginia, but a loss to Duquesne. Has any team ever made the NCAA's at 4 games under 500 in conf play? This means Pitt would need to go 7-2 to get to 8-10. Point being, it's another possible slot that a BE team could take.
Lot of hoops left, but there is a path to 8 bids, however unlikely, as the Friars would have to do cartwheels and contortions to get a bid, but still... and 80% would be an all-time record.

Georgetown still needs to go 5-3 down the stretch to get in. With 2 games with Nova, 2 with Seton Hall, and singles with Marquette and Creighton. That's tough. I don't think any basketball person would really say they're in a good place right now. No team right now with 10 losses is in a good place right now at all whatsoever.
