So, I don't know if anyone else saw this...last night Ponds posted a picture of a new BMW i8 with a caption "You welcome momma". My heart immediately sank. He's just an 18 yr old freshman...he doesn't understand that posts like this may trigger an NCAA investigation. I told him he should take it down and he did maybe 3 minutes later so it wasn't up for long. Now it could be a rental, it could be some shady agent who gave it to him, or it could be the program somehow giving it to him but in any case, he needs to stay under the radar. He has 20,000 followers...that's like all of MSG looking at your posts...he needs to be very careful. It reminds me of the scene in Goodfellas where they just succeeded with the Lufthansa heist at JFK with millions in cash and a day later, some of the mob guys bought their wives new cars, mink jackets, etc. Then Jimmy Conway angrily tells them to take it all back, because it brings way too much attention and can lead to an investigation.

I know there's a lot of shady dealings and Ponds is not even close to the first or the last one obviously. By the way, you guys heard it here first, I don't even think Redmen.com knows the scoop since they banned me...oh well their loss is HolyLand's gain I suppose.

Your post is a reason Mullin should've had a ban on social media, once the season started. I'm almost positive more bad, than good, comes out of it during the season. IMO, Mullin needs to place an immediate ban on this stuff.

You was banned several times before only to return, and get banned again. That's proof in itself. Heck! You even admitted a couple times that you did so. Those posts/messages are still available, if you're not aware. So, why would you suddenly attempt to not be a part of the forum when you've done it several times before? I also have proof you're still a member of the board, but you'll deny it.

Guess what, though? A couple mods there are also very, aware you're still on the board. They just don't feel like banning you again, as they don't like to ban posters (even, previously banned members). They're also aware you have numerous names in queue. Frankly, they just don't care anymore. You're full of crap, and many are aware of it. But, I digress. I won't take up much of this board's time with it any longer.

Well no proof of shady dealings besides the one resident loon talking about something only he seen that no longer exists. Maybe if Cooley had a back up plan they wouldn't be so undermanned.

PC is definitely undermanned but after tomorrow there is a good chance they have the same BE record as SJU and a better overall record. Agree, tough year by Ed Cooley standards.

You're right. I know a school custodian who drives a Rolls. There's a story, but it's not worth going into. Point is that there's nothing shady about it and unless anyone knows the story in a situation, they can jump to unfounded conclusions.

If your IP gets blocked it doesn't matter what device you use...you are banned permanently. And even if there were a way around it, I don't care and won't try to. Regarding the pic, I have proof...I screenshotted it before he took it down. And how can we assume it's not shady? A freshman from a poor inner city area is giving a $150,000 car to his mother. That doesn't make your radar go off? If it doesn't, you must be drunk.

As soon as Bentil declared this just seemed inevitable for PC. I think he should've stayed. Would've had a year of it being completely his team and not Kris Dunn's. Probably would've helped his stock. At the same time, this draft is loaded and last years wasn't, maybe he liked his chances.

I think Cooley has done about as good as he could have with the chips he was dealt. It is great when a guy like Bentil explodes unexpectedly and then leaves early, but it can also lead to a down year because its an unexpected departure.
