I don't think this was a disastrous loss for Seton Hall. An unranked team lost to the team ranked #11 in the country and tied for first in the league. Granted, it was at home, but it's not a season killer. I realize they were looking for a marquee win but they'll have more opportunities.
Also, I disagree that Seton Hall threw the game away. After being up 13, Butler almost threw the game away. Seton Hall came very close to stealing a win after being behind a majority of the game.

It's pretty close to a season killer. It was extremely winnable and blowing it leaves them with almost no more room for error. Unless they steal a road game at Butler or Xavier, they can afford 1 more home loss. With Nova, X, and Creighton still to come . . .
