they are done, now rest of season is battle to not finish in last place. good news is no one will leave early for draft.

Stop. You're ruining my season. They ran into a buzz saw tonight and committed too many turnovers. They had a bad night. It happens. They need to defend their home court, pick up a couple of doable road wins at Creighton and Seton Hall, and then even the score with St John's on the final day of the season. I don't know what will happen, bout I know that it's not over until they play those last 7 games.
The fan base that should be worried is in Omaha. What ails them isn't really fixable this year.

When Mo Watson went down a week and a half ago was when I started getting worried. Not too many teams would fare very well when they lose a player that contributed to 37% of its total offensive output. Losing Saturday to a red hot Marquette squad was forgivable, getting blown out by 20 points to a floundering Georgetown squad is extremely troubling. Coach Mac needs to do some soul searching on this team, and try to fix this mess before Saturday. If the Jays find a way to lose at home to DePaul, then us Jays fans will be in full-blown meltdown mode (some are already).

Yeah, you have to wonder if the Pirates are an NCAA team at this point don't you?
