BEwannabe, I believe, is Mick Cronin posting here in disguise.

Errr, Mick. That ACC invitation is not coming anytime soon. Enjoy your summer, and whole career for that matter, in limbo.

Article from Shatel of the Omaha World Herald today giving us some more tidbits about the Big East. Fox Sports talking about showing midnight madness, opening day marathon, Big Monday and games every day of the week including Fridays.....Love it!

I'm surprised we haven't seen more publicity on the Fox networks about this launching. You'd think they would be using every opportunity to spread the word as I am sure there are plenty of regular sports fans who don't even know about their plans.

I'm seeing tons of commercials during Brewer's games on FSWI
This is my opinion. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

I just realized that I don't want much on any Fox channels right now which might be the cause :D

Fox Sports Media Group co-presidents and COOs Randy Freer and Eric Shanks did an interview with a website named Multichannel News discussing what's in store, programming wise, at launch for Fox Sports 1. The relavent passage for Big East fans:

MCN: Where does the Big East fit on the schedule?

ES: In general, Big East basketball will be concentrated on Monday and Thursday nights, as well as Saturday and Sunday afternoons and evenings. We only have 24 Golden Boy fights and some are expected to move to Tuesdays during college basketball season. We expect that Fox Sports 1 will have a modest schedule of women's basketball and Olympic sports.
