I just wonder if we're eventually going to find the cable systems cracking down on folks using other peoples credentials. You would think they would do just that.

The other thing that I think we're going to find is the internet companies(a lot of which are the cable companies) eventually putting data limits on the internet usage for those folks who are internet only.

I have playstation vue for $35 a month. CenturyLink then made me move to a business class internet customer because of their data caps. Sucks but I am still only paying $110 a month for vue and my internet (40x20). So yes, data caps are a very real thing that cable companies are using. Clinks was only 200 Gb a month. I called Cox and they were 300 Gb a month. They are going to screw you one way or another.

might actually be wrong about the FSU/Ole Miss game. Think that may wind up #2 behind only the Notre Dame/Texas game. last years Ohio St/Va Tech game got 10.585 million viewers(last years #5 game all season long). The rating was down 20% from last year. So that would put it at about 8.5 million viewers then or #2. A very solid number.

Skip Bayless' new show launched this week and, as predicted, the ratings are terrible. The pick of Shannon Sharpe still baffles me, what a horrible decision. The first show on Tuesday got a 0.10 and the second show dropped 30% and got a 0.07. In comparison, First Take had a 0.32, a 457% advantage. This show is destined to fail and I'm real disappointed FS1 decided to copy the "embrace debate" line of thinking from ESPN. Should have gone with an actual version of SportsCenter, you know one that actually shows highlights.

Honestly, the ratings were gonna suck no matter what u put on. Its all about live program. Hopefully, getting the Big Ten will help, but until then, the casual viewer will gravitate more to the channel where they see most of their live events (ESPN).

1 thing to remember regarding the Skip Bayless show- it's not like what they replaced was drawing anything...

I mean they got 125k viewers on Tuesday, and 68k viewers on Wednesday....last week they were airing reruns of stuff getting 45k.

also look at the Cowherd ratings...
last week- Tue 64k, Wed 73k
this week- Tue 96k, Wed 101k

that's a pretty sizable increase for Cowherd.

just saw Thursday's rating for Undisputed was 105k viewers. So Fox has got to be pretty happy quite frankly with this. Compared to what used to air on FS1, they have to be at least fairly happy with that number.

Anything over 50K is probably better than what they were averaging at that time slot and it seems to be helping Cowherd's ratings as well...
