Never liked UConn and seeing that we don't have a history with them, I think a 10 team league is perfect.

Its definitely a short term gain. But problem is they could be taken by the P5 in the next wave of realignment (24-25 i believe). That being said, FOX would probably force us to do it if the offer were there.

Uconn would just park BB in the BE until a P5 offer came along to take their lousy FB.

Do I WANT them back? No. I'll be perfectly happy no matter if they stay in the AAC and wait for that ACC invite, or move to the Big12.

Would I be ok with them being back? Probably, especially if football was no longer an issue.

I voted no because after reading the Boneyard thread they now want to join the Big East as a "temporary" band-aid to get out of the hell that will be a raped aaC until they can get to the ACC or B1G... same ol' "old Big East." We have Nova's NC now, and all the fans on here are so classy and all the like-minded institutions, after only three years we've already build quite a culture and UCONN would unfortunately be a dramatic culture change. Say no the Huskies, and everyone else for now. Let's enjoy this for a while. I honestly think that our league would join whatever "new division" that broke from the NCAA. Let's face it, the NCAA is the putrid plutocracy that deserves to be taken out of any power battles. The power 5 (or soon to be 4) are bigger than the NCAA and so is the goddamn Big East. After the new division is formed then we can add UCONN if they are completely shut out. They would be more ready to fully capitulate and drop all football pipe dreams.

Meh, I can be bought. Let them in, but make sure the contract has an ironclad exit clause to soak them for 20-30 million when they leave.

Agree with Whiteandblue77. I too read the thread...Let the huskies park in the MAC or the Patriot...not here. Let's stay private for a while longer.
