1. Nova (Best until proven otherwise)
2. X (Bring a lot of studs back)
3. Seton Hall (If Whitehead comes back that is)
4. Butler (Always just a solid team)
5. Creighton (The BJ's make it back to their first dance in the post Dougie era)
6. SJU (Homer pick, but not really)
7. Providence (Rebuilding but could be lower)
8. Marquette (Can easily be one to two spots higher)
9. Georgetown (JTIII's last disappointment)
10. DePaul (It's DePaul)

I'll just say, Butler probably a little high. Marquette and G-Town probably a little low.

I don't know but I do know it will not be wherever the experts on this board put them. This has been proven historically year after year. I simply can't believe if Bentil comes back with what we have added and what we had sitting out only losing one player we will fall that far. Cooley has built a program here, eventually the rest of you will catch on to what we know. Every single year we have lost a star player and every year we have been as good if not better than the year before. If Bentil comes back we will have an outstanding team that will probably be dancing again, then 1 year from now this board will be picking us at the bottom because we lost Bentil. It's like groundhogs day.

One last thing regarding picking. Nobody knew Edmund Summers was going to be that good accept Xavier fans, every team has players like this so predicting anything this early is beyond silly. But I do know the PC fans get a good head shaking laugh seeing people pick them when half of the experts can't even name the players on the PC team that will be competing for minutes this year.

I believe people picking providence 7th and 8th are assuming Bentil will stay in the draft that is low if he's back but perfectly reasonable if he's gone.

And spare us the woe is me everyone always picks us lower than we end up. You were picked 5th last year and ended up with the 4 seed after being tied with Butler who was picked 4th in the preseason. They accurately predicted your finish last year every team has over achieved where they've been picked and every team has under achieved. It happens. I don't think people are providence doubters and are constantly under estimating them.

He is talking about this message board. PC was picked 6th last year. Poll results below. SH was picked 8th.

Good thing this year is there will be 9 teams with a legit shot at the tournament. Get things done in non conference and this could be a 6-7 bid league.

Next season, gtmo has us contending with Golden State in the West, and he has us as two point underdogs to the Patriots in the Super Bowl.

Go Bluejays!

What is this? You are an excellent stats guy...why the need to jab at ol' git? Have I offended u in some fashion? If u think the Jays will be good next season, fine. But please, "own" your statements. No need to drag me into your conversation.

Bump it again in March when PC finishes better than your prediction of 9th.
