Florida is tied with A&M right now so your prediction isn't right at all yet.

Oregon St lost to Cal....

Even Michigan is no sure thing. They were 7th team out, so to say they're going to automatically push ahead of 8 teams is a joke. UConn beats them, they'll pass by them and Cincy will still be ahead of them...

Also there are 2 teams in the RPI top 50 playing. Cincy is 40 and Tulsa is 47.

So the only correct one so far that could be a problem is Michigan winning.

If it's UConn/Tulsa in the final, 3 teams are making the tourney from the AAC. The committee will just have it winner as say 10 seed, loser as 11 seed in FF or something like that.

Why are you so obtuse? I never said anyone was a lock; that WAS my point. I was simply showing that there are several scenarios in OTHER tournament games that could impact your little dream scenario of the AAC getting 4 teams in. I provided a series of possibilities and so far 3 of 4 have occurred, another is coming down to the wire and another later today. Point being the Michigan and Gonzaga wins, while unexpected, have certainly made things much more uncomfortable for your favorite teams.

And as for Tulsa, what does it say after the number 53:

http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/rpi/_/page/1/sort/RPI

Oh, let me guess you've got your own site that is partial to the AAC teams, right?

yeah the OFFICIAL NCAA website. I think I'll go with that instead of ESPN........

So far of your 5 scenarios-
Gonzaga
Florida
Ohio St
Michigan
Oregon St

2 have happened- Gonzaga and Michigan. A 3rd half of it has happened, but the 2nd part is down 2 late in the game. A 4th has already lost.

The Gonzaga/St Mary's situation, that result probably helped the AAC out more. Gonzaga had a far better resume than St Mary's did.

yeah and when that LEAGUE has 4 teams with +200 RPIs the TEAMS playing them don't deserve to go dancing.

And most of the teams in contention only played 6 games with those teams, compared to 4 in the Big East. And those teams in the AAC played a better OOC schedule..... The SOS isn't lacking for the AAC teams at all.....

Is it possible without something crazy to happen for the aac to get 4 teams in?

It really wouldn't take crazy to happen...
UConn beat Cincy- winning right now 51-47 mid 2nd- UConn and Cincy both in for sure.
Temple beats UConn
Tulsa beats Houston
Temple beats Tulsa

UConn, Cincy, and Temple would be in for sure. Tulsa would be the most questionable, but given they would be top 40 in both KP and RPI by then, they're probably in as well.....

Actually Lunardi originally said that, but then later said that he thought Cincy would still be safe..... tough to see them falling the 7-8 spots necessary to drop out of the tourney. They'll still be top 42-43 RPI and in the top 35 in Ken Pom....
