I love FS1 and haven't really watched ESPN in a year or more. It's simple for me. I get to watch virtually every Big East game or at least as many as I want. ESPN couldn't or wouldn't give me that. I've switched and don't have any need to go back.

Same here. I only watch ESPN for SportCenter and the CFB season. I made FS1 my default box channel.

Then why will like at least 7 if not more of the top 10 games this year be on cable and not network TV? network tv may have more access but college basketball is so much more of a hardcore fan sport that it doesn't matter as much if it's on network or cable. College Football attracts many more casual fans- so that's why network games are so much bigger than cable....

Like comparing a made for TV movie to an academy award nominated feature. Even if the made for TV piece gets a ton of viewers, it's just not the same.
