Family & friends wanting a piece of your time, etc. As long as they aren't facing someone in their own backyard, I wouldn't be that upset (other than not being able to go down to support them locally). The road has always been good for this Nova team. 23-4 on the road in conference the last 3 years.

I think I'd agree with you- but man, if Nova got to the 2nd weekend, meaning the gorilla is off of the back already- to be playing in front of a nearly home crowd would just be huge IMO.

Jerry Palm is such a moron. He just said on twitter that Ken Pom means nothing to him with bracketology. How someone like him could say that when the committee acknowledged that it meant more than they even said last year- is beyond me. No wonder his scores have gone down and down the last few years......

BE teams should take a HUGE jump up the next bracketology....

entering today he had-
Seton Hall as a 7
Providence as a 9- the 4th team with a bye- so they were #36- as the other 3 teams were all 10's....
Butler as a 10- the 2nd team with a bye

well today-
7's- all won except for Wichita. So SH will maintain at least.
8's- only Texas Tech won, 2 others lost, USC plays tomorrow.
9's only Providence won, other 3 all lost
10's- all but VCU won.

I guess the question will be does PC and Butler just move up ahead of a lot of the losing teams. I could see PC moving ahead of the other 3 9's for sure. and I think St Joe's as well... Not as sure about them vs Colorado. Butler should move to the 9 line I would think.

I'm not saying X should be a 1 seed, but is there another team that beat every team on their schedule this year?

I don't think there is. They probably need to win the tourney to get a 1 though. Beating Marquette and Seton Hall/Creighton won't move them up much at all.

Not sure I agree with that.. I usually look at the dance card more than anything and Jerry Palm is close to the dance card. Look at Wichita State for example; Jerry Palm has them out, dance card has them out, while Joe Lunardi has them as a 7 seed... interesting.

The problem is the dance card is going off of the old stuff, back when they looked at the RPI much more. Remember, the dance card had it's worst year ever last year missing what 3 teams?

Doesn't it actually show how ridiculous KenPom must be to have a team with only one "quality" win and multiple "bad" losses ranked as a Top 10 team? There is literally not one justifiable reason how anyone could possibly consider them to be among the best teams in college basketball.
